Participants will be taught ways to determine pricing for any particular balloon business operation, and ways to evaluate and upgrade pricing as individual abilities and the overall scope of a business increase.

The presentation will include the broad scope of non-round balloon sculptures from simple one-balloon figures to detailed large-scale multiple-balloon and combined balloon exhibits. Several advantages to being able to do at least a few basic balloon figures will be explained.

Other figures will also be taught depending on the ability and progress of the participants.

Participants will be taught to use more than one balloon to achieve greater detail in balloon figures, as well as to make balloon figures large enough to entertain large audiences. Figures such as the Statue of Liberty, the Motorcycle with Rider, the Horse with Rider, and the Tyrannosaurus Rex, and multi-colored figures such as the Parrot and the Penguin will be taught. Other figures may also be taught depending on the ability and progress of the participants.

Participants will be taught to make frames, stands, platforms, and pedestals for balloon figures using non-round balloons. Methods will be discussed to make any balloon figure into a table centerpiece as well as ways to enhance artistic balloon displays and exhibits.

Participants will be taught to make large-scale three-dimensional sculptures such as Hats, Hot-air balloons, Blimps, Golf Bags, Turkeys, and Animals. The complexity of the instruction will depend on the ability and the progress of the participants.

Participants will be taught various ways to use Geo Donut and Geo Blossom balloons to increase sales to current customers, and to use them in conjunction with other types of balloons to enhance a balloon decorating theme.
Edit WorkshopID - 15Delete WorkshopID - 15 15 Geo Donut, 160Q, 260Q, 350Q Balloon Sculpture Participants will be taught use Geo Donut balloons in conjunction with 160Q. 260Q, and 350Q balloons to make various large balloon sculptures including Balloon Floral Arrangements, Golf Carts, Unicycles, Motorcycles, Tricycles, All-terrain Cycles, Wagons, Automobiles, Monster Trucks, and Airplanes.
Edit WorkshopID - 17Delete WorkshopID - 17 17 Non-round Balloon Decorating Overview This will be a one hour lecture accompanied by a demonstration and slide presentation showing the use of non-round balloons in decorating. The use of balloon decorating to increase sales will also be discussed.

Participants will be taught to make several types of balloon chains and balloon braids, and to use spiral-twisted balloons and balloon figures to create a "false ceiling" effect.

Participants will be taught to make wall decorations, and lanterns and other three-dimensional decorations using non-round balloons. The use of rope light, chemical light, and other lighting techniques will also be covered. The complexity of the instruction will depend on the ability and progress of the participants.

Participants will be taught to make free standing and wall mounted sculptures such as rainbows, sun-bursts, and wall murals. The complexity of the instruction will depend on the ability and progress of the participants.

Participants will be taught to make various types of balloon arches and swags using clusters of round latex balloons. The use of rope light and chemical light in conjunction with balloon arches and swags will also be covered.

Participants will be taught to make frames out of aluminum rod and other materials for a wide variety of sizes from table centerpieces to larger-than-life sculptures. Several methods of attaching balloons to the framework will be explained including nylon netting and garland cluster.

Open, and multi-sided gazebos, with and without ceilings will be covered. Methods of making canopies specifically appropriate to various themes and occasions will be demonstrated and discussed.

Participants will be taught several ways to build nets, bags, and other containers to accomplish balloon drops and releases, and how to organize for the mass filling of large numbers of balloons in a short period of time.

Participants will be taught how to use the Conwin Pneumatic Exploder in place of the electric match or Squib to explode balloons. Several ways to rig balloons for exploding will be discussed including column toppers, filled balloons, balloon sculptures, and walls and murals.

Participants will be taught several ways to use chemical and electric lights in conjunction with balloons in decorating and as an enhancement to balloon sculptures.

Participants will be taught to use balloons of all types to enhance lectures and lessons on a wide variety of self improvement/self worth themes. Participants will be taught a variety of ice-breakers, games and activities involving balloons. The block of instruction will focus on methods to help individuals get acquainted with others and to get everyone actively involved.
Edit WorkshopID - 33Delete WorkshopID - 33 33 Balloons in Storytelling and Entertainment Instruction in this session will be hands-on. Participants will be taught to use balloons to enhance storytelling and as a tool for entertainment. Various methods of juggling with balloons will be included.
Edit WorkshopID - 34Delete WorkshopID - 34 34 Balloon Oriented Magic This instruction will be oriented toward the use of balloons in magic. Various methods of using balloons in a magic performance will be demonstrated as well as several tricks in which balloons are a primary illusion vehicle.

Audience participation is encouraged with an emphasis on self worth and personal responsibility.
